BUFALAFEST, A UNIQUE EVENT

The Consorzio di Tutela’s PDO mozzarella, the burgers and buffalo meat, the pizzas of the great masters from Campania, desserts with buffalo ricotta, are all in a unique Great Village on the Naples boardwalk, in front of the beauties of the Gulf. In its recent editions, it has exalted the concepts of Territory and Well-being and the peculiarities of the buffalo supply chain, linked to the success in the world of mozzarella and it has proven to be able to give more, with the flavor and characteristics of its meat. All this, but not only this, is Bufala Fest, which is scheduled from 9 to 17 July 2022 on the Caracciolo Seafront.

But the offer is not just about taste: Bufala Fest also offers a vast program of free shows with music and comedy, show cooking by starred chefs, and moments of comparison and discussion with operators, experts, and representatives of the institutions. The event is organized by Diciassette Eventi, in collaboration with the Consorzio di Tutela of Buffalo Mozzarella from Campana PDO and the patronage of the Campania Region and the Naples Municipality.

SUSTAINABILITY, ALWAYS MORE

After the Territory and Wellness, the theme of the sixth edition of Bufala Fest will be Sustainability, a concept that must be pursued through a long and constant path. The consumer is now in constant evolution, attentive to social, technological, economic and food changes. Therefore, in these years of expansion regarding the culture of sharing responsibility, a strong focus on sustainability issues has spread.
#BufalaFest2022 will offer a Village with an engaging concept as well as the aim of promoting an idea of ​​sustainable development capable of satisfying today’s needs without compromising future generations.
The supply chain’s sustainability is nowadays one of the topics that arouse the greatest interest, a sustainable supply chain is an index of quality, well-being, and economies of scale.

HOW TO PARTECIPATE

The "Sapori della Filiera" Contest is back, involving hundreds of operators in the food sector, including chefs, pizza chefs, and pastry chefs, who will compete for being the best, proposing exclusive recipes based on products from the buffalo supply chain.

You too can participate in our Contest "Sapori della Filiera" organized in collaboration with the "Dolce & Salato" cooking school.

How to do it?

Record a video (max 120 Mb) showing the main phases of your recipe, fill out the form you find on this page, and upload it to our portal no later than 31.07.2022. Along with the video, you must also provide us with the following information:

- Description of the elaborate and related cooking techniques.

- Specification of typical local ingredients if their use is intended.

- Description of the dough (for pizza makers).
