BUFALA FEST, UNIQUE EVENT

The Mozzarella DOP from the Consorzio di Tutela, buffalo burgers and meats, pizzas by great master pizza makers from Campania, desserts and ice creams made with buffalo milk, this and much more represents the core of Bufala Fest – not only mozzarella, scheduled in Naples, in Piazza Municipio, from September 4th to 8th, 2024. A unique event that, over the various editions always held in the city of Naples, has proven capable of highlighting the peculiarities of the buffalo supply chain, linked to the worldwide success of mozzarella but also able to offer more with the flavor and properties of its meat. Year after year, Bufala Fest has demonstrated its ability to enhance the integration of various agri-food supply chains, showcasing different territories and promoting the “culinary dialogue” between Campania and the rest of the world.

Food Diversity refers to a food offering that reflects the needs of a diverse group of consumers with atypical requirements compared to the dominant omnivorous diet: for example, diets influenced by religious reasons, intolerances, vegetarian or vegan diets, but not only. In fact, the concepts of Economic Inclusion and Food Sustainability also fall within the scope of Food Diversity.

Bufala Fest 2024, with the contribution of experts and operators in the sector, including those of international profile, will shine a spotlight on changes in consumer preferences, government regulations, and investment strategies of agri-food companies.

THE “PLACE OF TASTE”

After the resounding success of the 2023 edition, Piazza Municipio has now established itself as a prestigious showcase for all the enogastronomic specialties of Campania that integrate with the buffalo supply chain. A true Arena of Taste will host Showcooking sessions by great chefs who will interact with the audience present at the event. In this area, professionals and companies in the food & beverage sector will take center stage with the aim of enhancing the products of the buffalo supply chain through the creation and presentation of unique and innovative culinary creations.
